Join us on May 20, 6-8 pm, at East Simpson Coffee Co., 414 East Simpson Street, Lafayette.

Drop by for some activist camaraderie with other women (men are welcome too), while connecting with friends old and new! Write a couple of cards to your legislators on issues of importance to you, and then move on to your evening activities - or you can join us for the entire two hours and purchase a light supper while writing to your legislators. The coffeeshop will offer coffee, teas, wine, beer, and snacks for purchase to fortify us for our postcard writing. 

Bring your ideas, your pen, and some resources you like that we can share (such as websites and blogs). We have plenty of postcards, and there will be postage, address lists, and lists of issues to prompt your writing. Please consider a donation for postcards or postage if you can.  Hope to see you there! You´re welcome to share this invitation to more partygoers!
